¡¡¡¡Shijiazhuang Changshan Textile co., Ltd. is a large listed company engaged in textile production, research and trade. In July 2000, Changshan Textile made its initial public offering (IPO) of 0.1 billion A shares in Shenzhen Stock Exchange. After the initial financing of 0.6 billion RMB, Changshan Textile succeeded in its second attempt to finance around 0.15 billion RMB through share issuance in the securities market.
Changshan Textile now boasts four cotton textile filiales, one controlled cotton textile subsidiary, one printing & dyeing filiale, one warp woven garment finale and other subsidiaries dealing in real estate development and import & export etc. At present, the company enjoys a total asset of 2.52 billion RMB with the net asset reaching as high as 1.45 billion RMB. And it owns 0.45 million spindles, 12,000 weaving machines (of which 1,208 are shuttleless looms) and 174 sets of printing and dyeing equipment. Its annual outputs amount to 85,000 tons, 0.35 billion meters and 80 million meters in terms of cotton yarn, gray fabric and printed & dyed fabrics. At present, there are 28,000 employees in the company altogether. The yearly income from major businesses reaches 2 billion RMB and the taxed amount totals 0.3 billion RMB.
Since its public listing in 2000, Changshan Textile has realized continual increase in economic benefit.In 2001, its economic benefit ranked the third among all domestic textile practitioners. And an increase of 6.13% was realized in terms of net profit realized compared to the year before. And the net profit in the first half year of 2003 was 66 percent higher than that of the same period last year.Our products are sold in over 60 countries. |
